11. TUBE SEASONING / FORMAZIONE DEL TUBO

DURING THE OPERATIONS DESCRIBED
BELOW THERE IS X-RAY EMISSION.

WEAR LEAD PROTECTIONS (LEAD
APRON, THYROID LEAD PROTECTION,
LEAD GLASSES, LEAD GLOVES,...) AND
USE LEAD SHIELD DURING X-RAY
EMISSION.

GUANTI PIOMBATI, …) E UTILIZZARE
SCHERMI PIOMBATI DURANTE
L’EMISSIONE RAGGI.

If during the Start up phase, the display
shows the message “TUBE SEASONING”,
it means that the unit is lying idle for more
than 3 months.
In this case it is necessary to perform the x-
ray tube seasoning with the procedure of
TUBE SEASONING.
Prepare the x-ray tube to the emission by
performing some exposures as indicated in
the table.

Se nella fase di Start up, il display
visualizza il messaggio “TUBE
SEASONING”, significa che l’unità è
rimasta inutilizzata per più di 3 mesi.
In questo caso è necessario eseguire la
formazione del tubo radiogeno con la
procedura di TUBE SEASONING.
Preparare il tubo radiogeno all’emissione
eseguendo una serie di esposizioni come
riportato in tabella:

If during the procedure some working
irregularities or anomalies are found, it is
necessary to stop it for at least half an hour
and start it again from the beginning.

irregolarità o anomalie di funzionamento è
necessario interromperla per almeno
mezz'ora e riprenderla poi dall'inizio.

After the seasoning DON'T perform any
exposure. Let the monobloc cool for 8
minutes.

Terminata la formazione non eseguire
nuove esposizioni. Lasciare prima
raffreddare il monoblocco per 8 minuti.
