QSFP28 —

An optical adapter or transceiver used to connect to and test over 100G

fiber circuits. An optional CFP2 to QSFP28 adapter is available for the CSAM.

RJ 48-45 —

Jack on the Transport Module used for 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet

testing.

Rx —

Receive or receiver or input.

SDH —

Synchronous Data Hierarchy.

SONET —

Synchronous optical network.

STM-1e —

An electrical SDH signal of 155.52 Mbps.

STM-4 —

An SDH signal of 622.08 Mbps.

STM-16 —
