Use the following procedure when starting the instrument. 

1.

 

Turn the power ON. 

2.

 

Allow 30 minutes for the instrument to stabilize. 

3.

 

Set instrument parameters such as operating ranges and averaging times 
to appropriate settings. For more information about instrument 
parameters, see the “Operation” chapter. 

4.

 

Before beginning actual monitoring, perform a multipoint calibration 
as described in the “Calibration” chapter.
