Thermo Fisher Scientific

Equipment Damage

Some internal components can be damaged by small

amounts of static electricity. A properly ground antistatic wrist strap must
be worn while handling any internal component.

▲

Turn instrument OFF, unplug the power cord, and remove the cover.

Unplug the I/O expansion board cable from the EXPANSION BD
connector on the motherboard.

Remove the two standoffs holding the I/O expansion board connector
to the rear panel (

Pop off the board from the mounting studs and remove the board.

To install the I/O expansion board, follow previous steps in reverse.

Calibrate the analog current outputs and analog voltage inputs per the
procedure earlier in this chapter.
