Transport Controls – How to Play a script
To PLAY a script
Select the script from the touchpad and press the VTR PLAY button. If playback has been aused on a still frame, it
will resume playback from that point. For here, you can STOP or SCAN through the script.
To STOP and unload script
Hold the VTR STOP button and press the REV button.
To PAUSE a script
Press STOP to pause playback of the script. The last frame of video played is displayed while the script is paused.
From here, you can PLAY or STEP through the current script.
To SCAN through a script
To scan or shuttle through the current script, press the REV or FWD buttons while the script is playing.
To frame STEP through a script
In order to frame step or jog through the current script, playback must be paused (if the script is playing, press the
STOP button one time). Press the
REV or FWD button to display the next frame in direction indicated.
GPI Trigger Assignments
GPI Input and Output channels must be configured for use with scripted events if they are to be used to control
playback (input) or interface with external equipment during playback (outputs). GPI usage assignment is performed
on the
SETUP GPI INPUTS (5/8) menu page and SETUP GPI Outputs (6/8) menu page .
