Configuring Symposium Web Center Portal for e-mail and telephony integration

Standard 2.0

Notes: 

!

Nortel Networks recommends that you use a name server; however, the 
IOR file is a substitute that you can use if the naming service does not 
work. Every time the Task Flow Access (TFA) service on Symposium Call 
Center Server is restarted, it regenerates a file called NIDXServer_ior.ref on 
drive C. You can copy the file over manually (either by floppy or network 
share), and use it to connect Symposium Web Center Portal to Symposium 
Call Center Server. It changes every time TFA is restarted.

The Symposium Web Center Portal HDX tries to connect to Symposium 
Call Center Server three times. If you cannot connect to Symposium Call 
Center Server, confirm your HDX client settings and verify your 
Symposium Call Center Server settings. For more information about 
Symposium Call Center Server, refer to your Symposium Call Center 
Server documentation.
