3 Choose whether you want to enable or disable the Not Ready Reason

4 Choose whether you want the Maximum Queued Duration Time Out
handled by the DTH or scripts.

If you choose to have the DTH handle the Maximum Queued Duration
Time Out, the DTH periodically performs an audit and drops any calls
that are ringing for a time greater than the Maximum Queued Duration in
the DTH & Transaction Monitor Configurator. For more information, refer
to “Configuring the Maximum Queued Duration Time Out” on page 210.

If you use the Symposium Call Center Server scripts to handle the
Maximum Queued Duration Time Out, then you must ensure that the
scripts drop the call using the same timeout as is configured for the
Maximum Queued Duration. You can configure the scripts using the
AGE OF CALL intrinsic. For more information, refer to “Scripts-
controlled Maximum Queued Duration Time Out” on page 211.
ATTENTION
If you change the status of the Not Ready Reason Codes to
enabled when agents are already logged in, you must log
off the agents, shut down the Portal Desktop, and then log
the agents back on again. If you do not perform this task,
the agents who are currently logged on will not have their
Not Ready Reason Codes pegged when they double-click a
transaction in the Agent Workbook.
