Configuring e-mail for Symposium Web Center Portal

Standard 2.0

Mailbox Scan Interval:

 Enter the interval between e-mail scans in minutes 

and seconds. The minimum acceptable polling interval is 1 minute. The 
maximum acceptable polling interval is 1440 minutes.

Note: 

The Symposium Email Manager scans the database for inbound 

 

e-mail and outbound e-mail at set intervals. The interval between scans 
depends on your needs and your system resources. Frequent scanning can 
place an unnecessary load on your server. Infrequent scanning can mean 
that messages are not transferred to agents quickly enough.

Inbound: 

Ensure the path to the SWCPMail\Inbound directory appears in 

this box.

Outbound:

 Ensure that the path to the SWCPMail\Outbound directory 

apprears in this box.
