Installing the Symposium Web Center Portal software

When the copying is complete, restart the computer.

Result: 

You have completed the EFB installation. You can continue with the 

Portal Server installation. For more information, refer to “Installing the 
Portal Server component” on page 85.

To verify the connection to the database using Sybase Central Java 
Edition

Follow this procedure to ensure that the database you just created can be 
accessed.

Log on to Windows using the Local Administrator user ID.

Ensure that the Sybase services (Sybase SQLServer_SWCP_SQLSRV 
and Sybase BCKServer_SWCP_SQLSRV_BS) are running:

From the Start menu, choose Programs
