Windows Scripting Host
To install the Windows Scripting Host:
1. If the Setup menu is not displayed:
Click the button, and select Run.
On the Run dialog box: Enter e:\setup in the Open box, and click the button.
2. Select Windows Scripting Host on the Setup menu, and click the button.
The files should be copied to C:\WSH.
3. On the Select Folder dialog box:
Click the button to accept the default C:\WSH.
OR
Enter a new folder name if you wish to change this name. Click the button.
4. If you see a Setup dialog box asking if you want to create this folder:
Click the Yes button.
5. Read the instructions on the next Setup dialog box.
Click the button.
Microsoft Data Engine
To install the Microsoft data engine:
1. If the Setup menu is not displayed:
Click the button, and select Run.
On the Run dialog box: Enter e:\setup in the Open box, and click the button.
2. Select MSDE on the Setup menu, and click the button.
The files will be coped to the hard disk. This procedure may last about three minutes.
3. Click the button. Select Settings and Control Panel.
4. On the Control Panel window:
Double-click the Services icon
5. On the Services window:
Scroll down the Service list, and select SQLServer Agent. Click the Startup button.
Click the Automatic radio button. Click the button.
6. Close the Services window and the Control Panel window.
