Extension

The Extension value is the number of the phone system’s extension that is physically con-
nected to the port you are customizing. If you do not assign this value, the Message Notifica-
tion and Call Announcing features may not work correctly.

Answering Schedule Table

This is the Answering Schedule Table (AST) to which the Voice Mail refers when answering
all trunks that use the port.
