Chapter 3: Programming

Schedule Number to Use

The Schedule Number to Use option includes Day Mode and Night Mode.

Day Mode

The Day Mode value sets the number of the Answering Schedule Table (AST) that the Voice
Mail will use to answer calls entering on trunks, while the system is in the Day Mode.

Night Mode

The Night Mode value sets the number of the Answering Schedule Table (AST) that the Voice
Mail will use to answer calls entering on trunks, while the system is in the Night Mode.

Availability:

All phone systems that allow Voice Mail use of a schedule for greeting
day callers and another schedule for greeting night callers.

Default:

None

Entries:

Number of the schedule set up for the Day Mode

Notes:

The schedule number comes from the AST assigned to the port or to the
trunk mailbox (if allowed). The AST that answers a trunk is the AST
assigned to the port handling the trunk, unless the trunk has its own
AST.

Default:

None
