Callout Options
You can customize Callout options (Message Notification options) to specify how the Voice Mail
will notify people who have received messages in their Subscriber, Guest, or Message Center
Mailboxes. You can also use these options to customize FAX callouts for a mailbox if the FAX
option has been installed in your Voice Mail system and network callouts for a mailbox if you are
using AMIS.
But before using these options, you will need to do each of the following:

Enable the Callout Options for each port through which the Voice Mail will send Message
Notification calls
Q
Assign the designated keyset extension to each installed Voice Mail port, so that Message
Notification will operate properly
Q
Turn on Message Notification for each mailbox (extension) that will use this feature.
Message Notification
Then the Voice Mail will be able to provide Message Notification by calling any of the following:
Q
outside telephones (including car phones)
Q
radio pagers
Q
digital pagers.
To enable Callout Options for each port:
1. Click Customize on the menu bar.
2. Select Port Options on the Customize menu shown below.
3. On the Port Options dialog box: Enable Allow Notification/Wake-Up (under Callouts).
4. On the Port Options dialog box if you are using AMIS:
Enable Allow Network (under Callouts).
To assign the designated keyset extension number to each installed
Voice Mail port:
1. Click Customize on the menu bar, and select Port Options on the Customize menu.
2. On the Port Options dialog box:
Enter the extension number in the Extension box (under Options).
