Platen heat system
An anomaly is detected
in Platen heater system
(Thermistor, Heater).
Thermistor or Heater’s connector may be
disconnected, wiring may be faulty, or Thermistor
cable maybe nipped by plates, or Heater may be
damaged.
1. Plug Thermistor or Heater’s connector
properly.
2. Check the connections of HEATER DRIVE
board.
3. Replace HEATER DRIVE board.
4. Replace Heater.

CR Origin
CR origin cannot be
detected.
1. Check CR origin sensor in “Sen.: CR Origin”
in the self-diagnosis function.
(Check if “ON” is displayed when Carriage is
locked and “OFF” is displayed when
Carriage is moved.)
Check connection of CR origin sensor cable
connector.
2. CR origin sensor may be damaged.
Replace it.
3. JUNCTION board may be damaged.
Replace it.

Head Heat
An anomaly is detected
in Head driver.
1. Check the connection of Head FFC.
2. Check the connection of CR_FFC.
3. Head FFC may be damaged.
4. CR_FFC may be damaged.
5. Head may be damaged.
6. CR board may be damaged.
7. MAIN board may be damaged.
1. Make sure to connect Head FFC surely.
2. Make sure to connect CR_FFC surely.
3. Replace Head FFC.
4. Replace CR_FFC.
5. Replace Head.
6. Replace CR board.
