7.23.2 Configuring IEC 60870-5-101 (optional)

If you want to use the IEC 60870-5-101 control system protocol, you must
set the following parameters.

Figure 197: Setting parameters for IEC60870-5-101

Serial interface

You can use this parameter to select the serial interface for data transmis-
sion. You can select the following options:

▪ RS232

▪ RS485

To select the serial interface, proceed as follows:

1. Go to

Settings > Parameters > IEC 60870-5-101 > Serial interface

2. Select serial interface.

3. Press the

Accept

button to save the modified parameter.

Baud rate

You can use this parameter to set the serial interface's baud rate. You can
select the following options:

▪ 9600 baud

▪ 19200 baud

▪ 38400 baud

▪ 57600 baud

▪ 115200 baud

To set the baud rate, proceed as follows:

1. Go to

Settings > Parameters > IEC 60870-5-101 > Baud rate

2. Select baud rate.

3. Press the

Accept

button to save the modified parameter.
