Rated power of the transformer
You can use this parameter to set the rated power of the transformer. This
parameter is used for calculating the actual power based on the determined
load factor.
To set the rated power of the transformer, proceed as follows:
1. Go to
Settings > Parameters > Overload > Rated power of the trans-
former
.
2. Enter the desired value.
3. Press the
Accept
button to save the modified parameter.
IEC: k11
You can use this parameter to set the thermal model constant k11 used for
calculating the upper oil temperature in accordance with IEC 60076-7.
To set the thermal model constant k11, proceed as follows:
1. Go to
Settings > Parameters > Overload > IEC: k11
.
2. Enter the desired value.
3. Press the
Accept
button to save the modified parameter.
IEC: Oil exponent
You can use this parameter to set the oil exponent of the transformer in ac-
cordance with IEC 60076-7.
To set the oil exponent, proceed as follows:
1. Go to
Settings > Parameters > Overload > IEC: Oil exponent
.
2. Enter the desired value.
3. Press the
Accept
button to save the modified parameter.
IEEE: Oil exponent
You can use this parameter to set the oil exponent of the transformer in ac-
cordance with IEEE Std C57.91.
To set the oil exponent, proceed as follows:
1. Go to
Settings > Parameters > Overload > IEEE: Oil exponent
.
2. Enter the desired value.
3. Press the
Accept
button to save the modified parameter.
Increase of the upper oil temperature
You can use this parameter to set the increase of the upper oil temperature
above ambient temperature (at rated load). The value to be set depends on
the design of your transformer.
