| Then reconnect the network cable to the adapter. Select r to refresh and view
| the results of the test. In this example, the system reports test completion with

| 1. Remove the power from the IBM 2212 by unplugging the power cord.
| 2. Remove the cable from the digital modem adapter card. You may want to label
| each cable as you disconnect it for ease of reconnection.
| 3. The digital modem adapter is secured with two levers. To remove this adapter,
| release both levers by pushing outward on them. Remove the card from the
| IBM 2212.
| 4. The digital modem adapter card has four banks. If you have a T1/J1 digital
| modem adapter you receive one daughter card with 9-channels and a second
| daughter card with 3-channels. Install the 9-channel daughter card in bank 2
| and the 3-channel daughter card in bank 3. If you have a E1 digital modem
| adapter you receive two daughter cards, each with 9-channels. You can place
| either daughter card in either bank.
