2-23. Model 4xx Chassis with a 2-High Enabler

1. Remove power from the IBM 2212 by unplugging the power cord.

2. Remove the IBM 2212 cover, using the instructions in “Removing the Cover” on

page 2-4.

3. The system card is secured with two levers. Release both levers by pushing

outward on them and remove the system card.

4. Remove any adapter cards from the IBM 2212.

5. There are five slotted screws that attach the enabler to the card cage. With

one hand supporting the enabler, remove and keep the five slotted screws.

Remove and set aside the enabler.

6. Return to the procedure you were following.
