Chapter 1

Introduction

2

First-time Installers. If you are installing a Superdome for the first time, you should read this manual. It
provides details about each step in the installation process. Some steps must be performed before others can
be completed successfully. To avoid having to undo and redo an installation step, we urge you to follow the
installation sequence outlined in this guide. After you have done one installation, you may use Appendix B to
refresh your memory on the installation sequence.

Experienced Installers. Appendix B contains a checklist that describes the procedure to install a
factory-integrated Superdome. The factory-integrated checklist is a summary of the tasks described in the
body of the manual.
