NOTE:

Maximum status line current is 25 mA. If the output is used to drive a small
printed circuit board type relay, check current requirements for relay coil and be
sure to install a circuit protection diode across the coil. A 1N4004 or equivalent
will work.

Figure 2-14 shows typical remote/extended control and status connections.
