Adjusting the Monitor

LOGIQ 500 Basic Users Manual

Manual Degauss

Degaussing refers to the process of removing magnetic-field
effects from the monitor. Operation of the monitor within a
magnetic field may adversely effect color purity. Degaussing
can be used to correct this problem. The monitor automatically
degausses at power on.

To activate the manual degauss:

1.

Press the

monitor adjustment buttons

while the brightness/contrast adjustment indicator is not
displayed on the monitor. To cancel the manual
degauss, press the

adjustment button

again.

2.

Press the toggle button for brightness and contrast.

Adjustment button.

NOTE: Monitor degaussing (demagnetizing) is done
automatically when the system is turned on.
