Replace the receiver.

Call Through

Call Through is a dial-in via an external connection to the device with the call put through
from the device via another external connection. One of the device's telephone numbers
(MSNs) is defined in the configuration for Call Through. An external caller using this tele-
phone number (MSN) first hears the device's attention tone. The device checks the caller's
authorisation for Call Through and then activates a simulated external dialling tone for the
call. The caller is authorised if he or she enters the correct 6-character PIN2. Further pro-
tection is possible if the caller's number is entered in the phone book and is approved for
Call Through. The device then compares the number in the phone book with the caller's
number and the entered 6-character PIN 2. In principle, all numbers in the phone book can
be approved for Call Through. In the connection data records, one data record is created
for the incoming connection and one for the outgoing connection.

3.5.6 Door intercom

Door intercom (door intercom adapter)

Your device is already prepared for the connection of a door intercom adapter e.g. Eumex
DoorLine 210. A door intercom adapter can be connected to an a/b connection on your
device. Only the door intercom adapter needs to be entered in the configuration. Please
note that the device is already preconfigured for the Eumex DoorLine 210 door intercom
adapter in ex work state. If the door bell is pressed, the configured device subscribers are
called for 30 seconds.

From each authorised telephone, you can speak with a visitor at the door. On analogue
telephones, the signal on the telephone matches the intercom call. Based on the settings
for e.g. ISDN or system telephones, you may see further information on these telephones'
display. A door intercom adapter can have up to four ring buttons.

You can assign specific telephones to each of these ring buttons in your device configura-
tion. When the particular ring button is pressed, the call is signalled on the telephones
entered for it.
