Lift the receiver of your telephone. You will hear the internal dial
tone.

You will hear the positive acknowledge tone followed by the internal
dial tone.
Replace the receiver.
Activating and deactivating call signalling for analogue terminals (station
guarding)
You can activate and deactivate your terminal's ring. You can continue to use all the other
functions on the terminal. When making a call, the caller hears the ringing tone. If you lift
the receiver when a call is being made (you cannot hear the call), you are connected with
the caller.
