3.5.1.1 Receiving calls
Your telephone rings. You can identify an internal or external caller
by the ring pattern.
Lift the telephone receiver.
Speak to the caller.
End the call by replacing the receiver.
3.5.1.2 Call pickup
An external call is only signalled for your colleague. You can use a procedure to pick up the
call. If several calls are signalled, you pick up the first call.
A telephone close to you rings. You want to receive the call on your telephone.
Lift the receiver of your telephone.

3.5.1.3 Picking up an answering machine call
Calls that are signalled by the answering machine (the answering machine has not yet
switched on) can be taken by intercepting the the call. If the answering machine has
already received the connection, you can take this call on a telephone. "Busy" is signalled
to the answering machine.
Lift the receiver of your telephone.

3.5.2 Making internal calls
All calls, fax transmissions or data transmissions between internal analogue terminals,
ISDN terminals and SIP terminals are internal connections. These connections are free of
charge. If a connection is established between an internal terminal and a terminal connec-
ted to an ISDN connection (ISDN-NTBA), this is an external connection and incurs
charges. Up to 7 internal connections are possible simultaneously on the device.
