3.5.2.1 Telephoning internally when calls are automatically routed to the ex-
change
If you wish to dial internally or use a function such as call intercept, lift the receiver and
press the R key or the * key; you can then dial internally. If, after lifting the receiver and di-
alling a digit, you hear the engaged tone, the B channels of your ISDN connection are oc-
cupied; press the R key or the * key and you will hear the internal dial tone.
You want to set up an internal connection
Lift the receiver of your telephone. You hear the permanent dialling
tone.
Press the R key or the * key. You hear the internal dialling tone.
Dial the internal telephone number.
You hear the ringing tone. The person is called. The person lifts the
receiver.
Have your conversation.
3.5.2.2 Telephoning internally with an initial 0
You wish to make an internal connection.
Lift the receiver of your telephone. You will hear the internal dial
tone.
Dial the required internal telephone number.
You will hear the ringing tone. Your correspondent is being called.
The called party lifts the receiver.
Have your conversation.
