Field

Description

Caller display (CLIP Off
Hook)

If this setting is activated, the caller's telephone number is dis-
played while the subscriber is making and receiving a call,
providing the caller transmits the telephone number. This func-
tion is not activated by default.

Call waiting

If this function is activated, the subscriber hears a call waiting
tone if he or she is called during a call. This function is not activ-
ated by default.

Station guarding

If this function is activated, calls are temporarily not signalled on
the subscriber's terminal. This function is not activated by de-
fault.

Charge pulse

You can use this function to activate or deactivate the charge
pulse for the subscriber. This function is not activated by de-
fault.

Fields in the CAPI Settings menu

Description

Wake up

If you intend to receive SMS messages on a PC that is switched
off, activate this function to automatically start the computer on
receiving an SMS message. Note that a software for receiving
SMS messages must be installed on the respective PC. This
function is not activated by default.

MAC Address

Enter the MAC address of the Ethernet interface of the PC that
you want to receive the SMS messages on.

Automatic outside line

This setting defines whether the automatic outside line is set up
for the subscriber. With the automatic outside line, the sub-
scriber hears the external dialling tone after lifting the receiver.
This function is not activated by default.

Line access authorisa-
tion

Line access authorisation for a subscriber specifies which calls
the subscriber can make. Possible values:

(default value): The subscriber has unlimited dial-

ling authorisation and can set up all connections. In the
device, the code for international dialling is configured (e.g.

in Germany).
