Description
Status
This field is only displayed if you edit an existing entry. The
function is activated by choosing

. The function is ac-
tivated by default.
Name
You can enter a name for your VoIP configuration.
DSL Phonenumber
Enter your provider's VoIP number (DSL phone number).
Login name
Enter the user name you received from the VoIP provider.
Password
You can enter a password here.
User ID
Enter your provider's user ID.
Registrar/Proxy
Enter the DNS name or IP address of the SIP server.
Port Registrar/Proxy
The default value is 5060.

Generate Country Prefix If you have enabled this function and entered the Country
Code (
for Germany) under General Settings, the 0049 be-
fore a number dialed with area code is generated automatically.
De-activate number sup-
pression
If you enable this function, the number is always sent, inde-
pendently of whether you have switched Suppress Outgoing
CLIP (CLIR) (see
Extension
on page 309) on or off for a sub-
scriber/extension.
Use user ID as
phonenumber
This function must be activated for outgoing connections if the
VoIP number and user ID are different.
This function is activated by default.
Optimize bandwidth for
speechcompression
Enable this function to obtain bandwidth-optimised speech com-
pression using the G.726 voice codec.
Use Area Code
If you have switched on this function and entered the Area
Code (e.g.
for Hamburg) under General Settings, the num-
ber dialed is automatically prefixed with 040.
Upstreaming Device with
NAT
If you enable this function, you can use a gateway with NAT and
still make VoIP calls. Without this function, it may not be pos-
sible to call you with VoIP if you use a gateway with NAT.
This function is not activated by default.
Clear multiple provider
Activate this function to avoid multiple registrations with the
