3.2 Symbols
Lift receiver, turn on Hands-free or start preparatory dialling.
This symbol shows the call status.
This symbol tells you to lift the receiver of your telephone or the tele-
phone is not in use.
This symbol shows a signal on a terminal, e.g. your telephone is
ringing.
This symbol tells you to dial a number.
These symbols tell you to dial a particular code, telephone number or
character.
These symbols tell you to dial a code or character.
This symbol tells you to press the Flash button (signal button). In-
stead of the R key, you can also press the * key.
This symbol shows that an acknowledge tone can be heard on the re-
ceiver.
This symbol indicates a conference call.
The symbol indicates that you can use either the * key or the # key.
3.3 Installation
When you use your telephone system for the first time, a few settings are already precon-
figured. This includes the telephone numbers assigned to internal connections. Therefore
as soon as you turn on your device, you can telephone using the analogue or ISDN con-
nection and receive external calls.
