Gentier Real-Time PCR System

3.2 Install Transport Lock

In order to protect the Gentier instrument during transportation, avoid the transport damages.
Please follow the instructions listed below to install the transport lock:

Step

: please use appropriate tool to pry off and remove the removable air vent cover

located on the right side of the instrument shell, as shown in figure F-3a.

Step

: the transport lock screw should be fixed upon two cooling fans, as shown in figure

F-3b. Please use screwdriver to fix the transport lock screw, as shown in figure F-3c.

Step

: please install the air vent cover back to the original place on the instrument shell, as

shown in figure F-3d.

Caution:

unless it is noted in this manual, please do not loosen or remove any internal and

external screws or other parts, otherwise it will break the instrument warranty and result
in instrument misalignment.
