Inspection
●
Check
the
contacting
surface
of
the
cam
chain
guide
for
wear
and
damage.
●
If
it
is
found
to
be
damaged,
replace
it
with
a
new
one.
Cylinder
Cylinder
distortion
Check
the
gasketed
surface
of
the
cylinder
for
distortion
with
a
straightedge
and
thickness
gauge,
taking
a
clearance
reading
at
several
places
as
indicated.
If
the
largest
reading
at
every
position
of
the
straightedge
exceeds
the
limit,
replace
the
cylinder.

bore
surface.
●
Measure
the
cylinder
bore
at
total

positions;
top,
middle
and
bottom
positions
and
perpendicular
to
each
other.
