4.1.13 Routing for REPO Port, Dry Contacts, Parallel Ports, USB Port
& RS-232 Port
NOTE:
1. Parallel, RS-232 and USB cables are standard accessories, but signal cables
for REPO port and dry contacts are user-supplied.
2. In accordance with National Electrical Codes (NEC), please install a suitable
conduit and bushing for cable protection.
3. Please refer to national and local electrical codes for acceptable cable size.
4. Only when 5.4 Fixing the UPS is completed can you perform the following
wiring actions.
5. The UPS has two different system cabinets, 20 ~ 80kVA and 20 ~ 120 kVA.
Their top entry and bottom entry methods are the same; thus, in this chapter,
only the diagram of 20 ~ 120 kVA UPS is taken as an example.
6. Cable ties are user-supplied and the quantity depends on on-site requirements.
A. Top Entry
Open the UPS’s front door, remove the top covers shown in Figure 4-19 (each top cover
has two screws) and follow Figure 4-20 to perform top entry.
