The sequential decides priorities according to the selection count. The less
selected, the higher priority is given.
This priority algorithm operates using all this factors. For example, operation of
dial-peer hunt 0 decides the first priorities according to the longest matching,
checks the preference order within the same longest match priority, and then
randomly selects the dial peer in the same preference order.
The first setup relating to the hunt group is to select the hunt algorithm.

Enters into the global configuration mode.

Router(config)# dial-peer hunt
[0-7]
Algorithm 0 ~ 7 are applied as follows:
0 – (default) longest match, explicit preference,
random
1 - longest match, explicit preference, sequencial
2 - explicit preference, longest match, random
3 - explicit preference, longest match, sequencial
4 – sequencial, longest match, explicit preference
5 - sequencial, explicit preference, longest match
6 – random
7 - sequencial
Users can also set priorities according to the
preference
or a huntstop in the
corresponding peer according to the
huntstop
.
If a huntstop has been already set in a certain dial peer and if an outbound
call going to the dial peer is failed, the call will be terminated without hunting
another dial peer.

mode.
The tag is the only identifier of the
dial-peer of this system, and tag values
range from 0 to 65535.

The value ranges from 0 to 9, and the
lower the value is, the higher the
priority is.
