Frothing milk
Rinse the steam wand by placing a cup under the wand
and turning the regulator knob clockwise to the steam
position .
Turn the steam off by turning the knob to position 0 . Move the steam wand to the side of the appliance and
attach the milk frothing attachment to the wand.
Immerse the steam wand in milk, about 1 cm
below the surface, and activate the steam dosing
again – position .
Hold the frothing jug at an angle so that the steam wand
sits in the „spout” and immerse the wand just below the
surface of milk.
Lift the jug so the steam wand is in the middle
of the milk.
Stop the steam by turning the knob to position 0 (off). Take off the frothing attachment, wash it in warm water
with the addition of washing-up liquid. Wipe the steam
wand with a damp cloth and rinse with a little steam.
Hot water/boiling water
Place a cup on the drip tray under the steam wand and
activate the hot water function by turning the regulator
knob to position .
Turn off the hot water by turning the knob to the off
position 0 .
Leave the steam/hot water wand over the drip tray.
Programming
Choose a suitable fi lter and place it in the fi lter holder. Pour fi nely ground coffee into the fi lter. Tamp the coffee.
