Servo’s front panel

Restoring Tools from a USB Disk
(INITIALIZATION

NOTICE
You should need to perform a restore only if the SmartPAC PRO Servo tool and Initialization
programming has been corrupted or if the SmartPAC PRO Servo board has been replaced. The
restore process overwrites programming for all your tools and Initialization setups with the tool and
Initialization settings saved during the most recent backup. In performing a restore, you may lose
information that has taken you considerable time to input.
To restore backed-up tools to a SmartPAC PRO Servo, do the following:
1.
Insert the USB disk containing the tools backup into the USB connector. go to the Backup/
Restore Utility Menu, press Restore and follow the prompts on the screen.
Please note that the files on the USB disk are serialized, and they must match the serial number
on the SmartPAC PRO Servo.
2.
Press Exit to return to the Main Initialization Menu.
SETUP DATA COMMS (Optional)
(INITIALIZATION
– SETUP DATA COMMS)
The SETUP DATA COMMS menu, which appears on the Main Initialization Menu only when
firmware for the ShopFloorConnect or the third party communications option is installed, allows you
to set the parameters for a ShopFloorConnect. The instructions for using this menu are included in the
ShopFloorConnect and third party communication firmware documentation.
