– Installation

Turning on Power to SmartPAC PRO Servo

Figure 2-19. Main Program Menu

NOTICE

For help in using the SmartPAC PRO Servo touch screen, see Chapter 3.

NOTICE

If you turn the Program/Run key and nothing happens, press EXIT or BACK repeatedly until
SmartPAC PRO Servo changes modes. Before turning the Program/Run key, make sure
SmartPAC PRO Servo is in the Main menu for the mode it is in. If it is not, press EXIT or BACK
repeatedly until the Main menu appears. Then turn the Program/Run key.

To turn on power to SmartPAC PRO Servo, do the following:

1.

Make sure there is no die in the press.

2.

Turn the Program/Run key to PROG.

3.

Power up the SmartPAC PRO Servo.

The green Power LED on the SmartPAC PRO Servo front panel illuminates, a red Wintriss screen
appears for a few seconds, then the SmartPAC PRO Servo executes its startup process. Eventually,
the Main Program Menu appears (Figure 2-20).

NOTICE

•

If an error message displays when SmartPAC PRO Servo starts up, press EXIT.

•

If the error message continues to appear after your press EXIT, find the message in Chapter 7
and follow the instructions for correcting the problem. If you cannot find the error message or
cannot fix the problem, contact Wintriss Tech. Support.
