Installing SmartPAC PRO Servo with Remote HMI

The Remote HMI version of the SmartPAC Pro consists of a panel mount screen with a separate Real
Time SmartPAC (RTS) board. This version reduces the amount of wiring to the HMI portion of the
SmartPAC PRO.

1.

Install the HMI screen by following the Installing SmartPAC PRO as a Panel Mount instructions
above.

2.

Select a location in a control cabinet, enclosure, or console for the RTS board. The location
should offer convenient access to power, I/O, and stop circuit wiring.

3.

Using the drawing in Figure 6, drill eleven clearance holes (5/32”) for the 6-32 mounting screws,
and mount the board using the standoffs provided.
