REMOVING THE CONSOLE COMPONENTS
1.
Unplug washer or disconnect power.
2.
Remove the two T-15 Torx screws from
the console.
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
WARNING

Slide the console to the front of the unit
slightly, then rotate it back and place it in
the “service” position.
NOTE:
The Model CAE2792K is shown in this
console removal procedure. The Model
CAE2762K uses the same components, but
without the card reader.

To remove the ADVANTECH
control
board:
a) Disconnect the 6 board connectors at
P1, P2, P3, P4, P8, and P11.
b) Disconnect the green ground wire from
terminal P6.
c) Remove the six 5/16
″
hex-head screws
from the board and remove the board
from the unit.
5.
To remove the display board:
a) Remove the ADVANTECH
control
board (see step 4).
b) Disconnect the connector from the dis-
play board at P1.
c) Unlatch the display board from the
holder and remove it.
