To remove the high-limit thermostat or
the thermal cutoff:
a) Disconnect the wires from the high-
limit thermostat or the thermal cutoff.
b) Remove the two hex-head screws.

Unplug dryer(s) or disconnect power.
2.
Remove the lower service access panel
(see step 4 on page 4-33 for the proce-
dure).

To remove the heater
:
a) Remove the two wires from the termi-
nal block (see bottom photo).
b) Remove the hex-head screw from the
heater housing, and slide the heater
out of the duct.

Remove the hex-head screw from the
heater shield and remove the shield.
