Procedure - Endlay
1. Disconnect the D-XJG power and data cables from the DigiVAC.
2. The two endlay M8 grub screws ‘B’ are located in the endlay nut under the
endlay plate (see Figure 3:40).
3. Fully open the sidelays to access the outer grub screw.
4. Remove the outer grub screw and adjust the inner screw to remove any ex-
cess play in the mechanism.
5. A thread locking compound must be used when replacing the outermost
grub screw.

Procedure - Cleaning
The adjustment screws and bearings should be cleaned and lubricated
periodically. For routine lubrication, add a small amount of light oil to the
sidelay threaded shafts and adjust the sidelays/endlay back and forth a few
times.
If more thorough cleaning is required:
1. Remove the grub screws as explained previously.
2. Remove the ball bearings with a magnetic screwdriver or similar.
3. Thoroughly clean and then lubricate the adjustment screws and bearings
with silicone polish.
4. Reassemble and check operation.
3.9.3 X-Jogger Control PCB/Fuse Replacement
The drive motor, transformer, Control PCB and potentiometer are housed in
the electrical box which is accessed behind the motor panel.
Procedure
1. Disconnect the D-XJG power and data cables from the DigiVAC.
2. Place the D-XJG on its side on a suitable surface being careful not to dam-
age the unit.
