3.9.1 X-Jogger General Inspection
Due to the nature of its operation the D-XJG requires periodic inspection to
ensure that all earth straps and fasteners are secure and have not vibrated loose.
A nut lock compound should be used on fasteners which repeatedly loosen.
3.9.2 X-Jogger Sidelay/Endlay Screw Adjustment/Cleaning
If the ball bearings that run in the adjustment screws become loose, the move-
ment of the sidelays and endlay will become loose and inaccurate and will self
adjust due to the jogger vibration.
Procedure - Sidelays
1. Disconnect the D-XJG power and data cables from the DigiVAC.
2. The M8 grub screw ‘A’ (see Figure 3:39) should be tightened to remove
any excess play in the sidelay movement. Do not over tighten the screw as
this will cause the mechanism to bind and wear prematurely.

3. Repeat the procedure for the other sidelay if needed.
