Chapter 5 Machine Inspections
Before leaving the factory, each module of the Watkiss DigiVAC is systemat-
ically checked and tested. The inspection schedules listed in this section
should be used as indicated before a machine is installed at a customer’s
premises.
Pre-Delivery Inspections
Every factory-configured system will have completed tests prior to shipping.
These systems require only visual and running checks prior to installation at a
customer’s premises.
After-Build Inspections
Systems which have been built from modules or have been re-configured since
leaving the factory require more complete tests.
Inspection should only be conducted by Watkiss-trained engineers. The in-
spection sheets in this section may be photocopied for this purpose and we rec-
ommend that a copy of each machine inspection is kept for your records.
Before starting the inspections, ensure that an adequate supply of paper is
available.
