Front Outfeed Conveyor
3.8.1 Removing the Front Outfeed Conveyor
Procedure
1. Disconnect the DigiVAC from the mains power supply.

2. Remove the paper guide assembly by lifting upwards and then pulling out.
3. Undo the retaining screws and remove the paper guide support shaft.
4. Undo the two inner retaining screws on the L/H conveyor cap, hinge it
inwards and then lift off. Repeat on the R/H conveyor cap.
5. Undo the paper guide rod clamp screws and remove the clamps and guide
rods.
6. Undo and remove the two orange, front outfeed conveyor retaining
screws.
7. Open the rear conveyor door, and remove the two orange front outfeed
conveyor retaining screws.
8. Remove the front outfeed conveyor assembly by carefully withdrawing it
from the rear of the machine.
9. Replace and reassemble the front outfeed conveyor in the reverse order to
the removal procedure.
3.8.2 Replacing Front Outfeed Conveyor Belts
Should the front outfeed conveyor belts become worn or broken, they will
need to be replaced to resume good machine function.

Note: If the front outfeed conveyor is not replaced in the machine, the spring post
should be fitted instead (see page 120).

Electrical Screwdriver, small
