Base Module
5. Release the L/H spring retainer and allow the retainer, spring and plunger
to drop out. Repeat with the R/H spring retainer.

6. Using a 1.5mm Allen key (preferably ball-ended), undo the 2 retaining
screws for the R/H spring retainer housing.
7. Push the pinch wheel idler to the right and remove it.
8. The plastic spring retainer housing can now be removed from behind the
metalwork.
3.6.1 Replacing Drive Motor
Procedure
1. Disconnect the DigiVAC from the mains power supply.
2. Remove the rear cover assembly: Undo and remove 4 x M5 button head
screws, disconnect the cooling fan electrical connector, lift the cover away
from machine.
3. Remove the L/H side cover from the base module by removing 2 x M5 but-
ton head screws.
