that the feeder bands stop crisply. Also check correct fitting of
clutches, anti-rotation screws and split pins.
7. Rear Deflector Lever
• Ensure free and clear movement of deflector assembly.
• Set deflector to rear feed position and check operation of rear outfeed
belts.
8. Check and Set Blower Motor Max Pressure
• Connect pressure gauge to air supply manifold and carry out max pres-
sure adjustment procedure (refer to adjustment procedure).
• Check pipes for leaks.
9. Check VAC Using Gauge
• Connect Vacuum Gauge and record VAC pressure at applicable input
voltage.
Note: VAC Pump must operate at 100%
• Check pipes for leaks.
Section 3 - Running Tests
1. Straight Stack All Bins
• Load all bins, run machine with all bins switched on, straight stacking
the paper.
• Check that the paper travels into the guides clean and straight.
• Check and adjust separator plates if necessary.
2. SPH Control

DigiVAC Standard:
Using SPH control knob, check the SPH will
increase and decrease.

Check the auto function

3. Check X-Jogger Vibrator Functions Correctly
4. Oscillate Stack, All Bins (If fitted with Straight Stacker, operation not ap-
plicable)
• If fitted, check operation of Oscillating Stacker (Refer to the Digi-
VAC+ operating manual).
5. Stacker Full Sensor

DigiVAC Standard:
Check when Stacker is full that the Collator auto-
matically stops and display shows [
FULL
].

• Check for neatness of stack, adjust as required.
6. Miss and Double Detection
DigiVAC Standard
• Miss:- Create a miss situation by holding back bottom sheet from bin,
check for audible bleep, plus yellow flashing LED on bin switch,
machine will stop and display [
binEr
]. Repeat test on all bins.
• Double:- Fold back approximately 85mm of A4 portrait sheet to simu-
late a double feed and place into bin. Check for audible bleep plus red
flashing LED on bin switch, machine will stop and display [
binEr
].
• Miss:- Create a miss situation by holding back bottom sheet from bin,
check for audible bleep, plus yellow flashing LED on bin switch,
machine will stop and display an error message on the control panel.
Repeat test on all bins.

message on the control panel. Repeat on each bin.
