The fieldbus controller supports the following DeviceNet

functions:

Dynamic connection setup via the “Unconnected Message Manager Port”
(UCMM) with up to 5 subscribers at the same time

Addressing the node via “Offline Connection Set” (e.g., in case of error)
•
Defined node unsubscribe while controlling via “DeviceNet Shutdown” (in
case of error for safety-related applications)
•
Compiling “Assembly Instances” during data transmission with process data
from various application objects or via “Dynamic Assembly”
•
Changing station address (called “MAC ID” with DeviceNet
TM
) via
“Change MAC ID by SW”
•
Configurable communication monitoring via “Heartbeat”
•
Synchronization of the slaves via “Bit-Strobe” multicast message from the
master
