Master (scanner) should have access to the physical inputs and
to 4 bytes of PFC output variables in this example.
For the static assembly for the TX configuration of the scanner, 4 bytes of PFC
output variables are added to the quantity of input data.
10. To parameterize the fieldbus controller, double-click the fieldbus node 750-
806 icon.
On the “General” table, you can assign the required address to the fieldbus
controller.
11. Click in the input window for the address and enter the address according to
the address set on the DIP switch of the fieldbus controller.
On the “Configuration” tab, you can enter the RX/TX configuration.
12. Leave the value for “ID#37 PLC Fieldbus Input Variables” at “0”. For
“ID#38 Number of PLC Fieldbus Input Variables”, enter “4”.
13. Click the
[OK]
button to confirm the setting.
14. To start the configuration, double-click the scanner icon.
The “1769-SDN Scanner Module” dialog window appears.
