Configuring Static and Dynamic Assemblies
In this example, RSNetWorx software version 21 from Allen-Bradley and
RSLogix 5000 is used with a “1769 SDN scanner module”.
The inputs are mapped via the static assembly and the outputs mapped via the
dynamic assembly.
The sample node is configured with the following I/O modules:

Launch the “RSNetWorx” configuration software.

To load the EDS file “WAGO 750-806_2_8.eds”, click the “EDS Wizard”
menu item in the “Tools” menu and follow the instructions.

The EDS file "WAGO 750-806_2_8.eds" can be downloaded from the WAGO
website
After loading the EDS file in “RSNetWorx”, you can start configuring your
network:

Click the “Communication Adapter” folder in the tree structure on the left
side of the screen.
Various subfolders are listed.

In the subfolders listed, select the corresponding scanner (DeviceNet
TM
Master) that is in your network (for this example, select “1769 SDN Scanner
Module”).
5.
Double-click to apply the scanner selected or drag & drop the selection to
the right side of the screen.

The scanner selected appears as an icon on the right side of the screen.
