With a male hexagonal wrench 3mm,
remove the six screws TCEI M4x16 (pos.
1) and the plain washer and grower that fix
the I.I. bottom.
•
Extract carefully the I.I. from the front part.
•
Con una chiave esagonale maschio 3mm,
rimuovere le sei viti TCEI M4x16 (pos. 1)
più rondella piana e grower che fissano il
fondo dell’IB.
•
Estrarre con molta cura l’IB dalla parte
anteriore.

The intensifier tube is realized in metal, glass
and ceramic. The insulating parts or
transparent to the radiation, in glass or
ceramic, have a mechanical strength lower
than the metallic parts. Due to mechanical

During the replacement phase, the tube must
be put temporarily with the input side on a
surface that is soft and without particular
abrasive substances. Durante la fase di sostituzione, il tubo deve
essere appoggiato temporaneamente con il
lato di entrata su una superficie morbida e
priva di particolari abrasivi.

Install the new I.I. tube by performing
the operations described above in reverse.

Istallare il nuovo tubo I.B. eseguendo le
operazioni sopra descritte in senso
inverso.
Perform some control exposures with different
kV, mAs and focus parameters in order to
ensure the correct unit working.
For the parameters selection and the unit use,
refer to the SERVICE MANUAL.
Take the proper precautions against radiation.
Eseguire alcune esposizioni di controllo con
diversi parametri di kV, mAs e fuoco per
accertarsi del corretto funzionamento
dell’unità.
Per la selezione dei parametri e l’uso dell’unità
riferirsi al SERVICE MANUAL.
Prendere le adeguate precauzioni riguardo la
radioprotezione.
