Installation
CAUTION
!
The removed bearing, oil seal and snap ring
must be replaced with new ones.
Generator cover
1) Install the oil seal (1) with suitable socket.
2) Apply grease to the lip of oil seal (1).
: Grease 99000–25010 (SUZUKI SUPER
GREASE A or equivalent)
3) Install the each bearing (2) with the special tool.
Special tool
(A): 09913–70210 (Bearing installer set (10
– 75))
4) Install the snap ring (3).
Special tool
: 09900–06108 (Snap ring remover (Close
type))
5) Install the generator stator. Refer to “Generator
Removal and Installation: in Section 1J” .
6) Install the crankshaft oil seal (4) with the special tool.
Special tool
(A): 09913–70210 (Bearing installer set (10
– 75))
7) Apply grease to the lip of oil seal (4).
: Grease 99000–25010 (SUZUKI SUPER
GREASE A or equivalent)
Right crankcase
1) Install the each bearing (1) with the special tool.
NOTE
The stamped mark side of the bearing faces
inside of crankcase.
