2. Pressure Control Mechanism
Pressing the or button of the print density key on the operation panel activates the pressure control pulse
motor and moves the pressure spring tension plate. The movement of the pressure spring tension plate changes
the tension of the pressure spring. This changes the amount of the pull applied on the pressure lever;spring,
and changes the print density by changing how hard the pressure roller hits against the print drum. The print
pressure control pulse motor activates only when the machine is in motion. The printing pressure varies
depending on the printing speed, print density settings, ink color, how long the print drum was not used and
internal temperature of print drum. The print pressure HP sensor detects the home position of the printing
pressure.
